India and I brings together memory, public service, institutions, elections and the republic through a hundred episodes from Dr. S.Y. Quraishi’s life and work.
A hundred memories from a life lived across public service, elections, education, institutions and the republic.
India and I is not a conventional memoir. It is a collection of episodes, encounters and reflections from a public life shaped by institutions, democracy, communication and the everyday workings of the republic.
The book looks back through memory rather than chronology, bringing together moments from public office, civic life, scholarship and personal experience.
